For those who are unaware, Team Win Recovery Project —known as TWRP, pronounced “twerp”, for short—is a custom recovery that is available to a number of devices. While not as widespread as the world famous ClockworkMod recovery, TWRP pushes the boundaries right alongside ClockworkMod recovery in terms of features including all touch interfaces. In fact, both recoveries are available on most newer devices and many older devices, although ClockworkMod is on way more devices overall. Now, the HTC One X for AT&T can have it at just the click of a button.

One click methods are efficient and wonderful, but can be dangerous if not used properly. So be sure you follow all the instructions to the letter. Thankfully, this particular one click method is quite easy to use. First and foremost, you must be rooted with your bootloader unlocked. Before we begin, it should be noted that we are not responsible should anything bad happen to your phone. Anything you do, you do at your own risk. Also, it’s worth pointing out that this method is for Windows PCs only.
Once you’re rooted and unlocked, you can begin. Hit up the source link and download the One_Click_TWRP_v2.2.0.zip. Using your favorite unzipping program, locate where you downloaded the zip file and unzip it. At this point, your One X should be plugged in. Once you’re plugged in—on charge only—open the folder that was created when you extracted the zip and run the install.bat found inside. Once done, you’ll have the latest TWRP installed on your device and you can go flashing ROMs til your heart’s content.
Is there any discernible advantage to choosing Team Win Recovery Project over ClockworkMod? At present, not really. Both are highly stable recoveries. It’s all a matter of preference for One X users. For more info and download links, check the source link!
